GTA 6 Has Fully Working Buses and Trains You Can Ride

How it works
Confirmed (Edge): Hooker "now spends much of his time waiting for buses: checking that they arrive when expected, then riding them across Leonida and watching the world pass by" (Edge).
Confirmed (Garbut): you can make it a roleplay day, "buying cigarettes and beer in the shop and going on the train for the day, or going to a club. You can have your life in the game" (Insider Gaming).
Why use it
Reported: commuting by transit means you don't have to manage your own car's fuel and engine-damage gauges (GamesHub). Every vehicle has both, per Edge (Edge).
Analysis: with a map nearly GTA 4, 5 and RDR2 combined, transit becomes one of several ways to get around, along with Ryde Me fast travel and the Scooter Bros car delivery app.
Open questions
Analysis: Insider Gaming asks whether transit could be "a reliable method of escape from the scene of a crime" and whether services can be delayed. Rockstar hasn't answered either (Insider Gaming). Given the heat system, a busy train could plausibly help you lose a description, but that's speculation.
