Trevor Actor Steven Ogg Now Wants to Stream GTA 6 With Ned Luke
On this page
Current status
- Current status: A suggested joint stream, not an announcement.
- Last verified: October 21, 2026.
- Sources checked: GamesRadar+, Dexerto, GTAVIFrance.
- What is confirmed: nothing official. These are the actors' own comments on a livestream.
- What is not confirmed yet: a date, platform or format for any GTA 6 stream.
What Ogg said
Reported (GamesRadar+):
- "We should also do this with the new one, when the GTA 6 comes out. Because, obviously, it's gonna be so... different, and talking about the animation, and... it'd be kind of fun."
- He's "curious about the actors... and the game itself, those characters, versus this, GTA 5."
- Asked whether Luke was "in touch with... them," seemingly Rockstar, Luke paused, said "no," and laughed.
GamesRadar+ adds that Ogg's tone makes it hard to tell how excited he really is.
Why it's a U-turn
Reported: in February 2025, Ogg denied that he "hates" GTA but said he wouldn't be playing GTA 6 (GamesRadar+). Dexerto frames it as him admitting he's now "curious."
Analysis: Luke's GTA 5 streams seem to have brought Ogg back to the series. A Michael and Trevor GTA 6 stream would be one of the more watched community events of launch week.
Ned Luke's view of GTA 6
Reported (Dexerto): Luke, who played Michael, has said GTA 6 "looks nothing like Grand Theft Auto 5... The technology has grown by leaps and bounds."
More on that comparison is in our GTA 5 trailer recreation guide.
Confirmed vs rumored: Ogg and GTA 6

The bottom line
Trevor's actor has warmed up to GTA 6, but this is a stream idea, not a cameo. If it happens, expect it after Luke wraps his GTA 5 run.
