What 'plays best on PS5' does and doesn't mean
Analysis: the wording is marketing language tied to Sony's partnership. The blog backs it with PS5-only controller and audio features, not with graphics or frame-rate claims. Push Square covered the partnership's return. Digital Foundry says it would like "some kind of affirmation as to why the game is 'best on PS5'" and what to expect on each of the four consoles.
- Graphics and fps: no official comparison table. See 30fps guide and launch trailer tech analysis.
- PS5 Pro: no official Pro mode details. See PS5 Pro guide.
- Xbox: gets the same game on the same day. The DualSense features are simply PS5 hardware.
Set up before launch
Practical tips (Analysis):
- Check your controller settings (Settings > Accessories > Controllers) for vibration and trigger effect intensity. They're system-wide, so set them before November 19.
- 3D audio: set it up under Settings > Sound > Audio Output for headphones, or for compatible TV speakers.
- New controller? The licensed GTA 6 DualSense options are in our controllers guide.
The menu paths are standard PS5 system settings, not GTA 6-specific options. In-game settings haven't been shown.
Confirmed vs rumored: PS5 features

The bottom line
"Best on PS5" officially means DualSense haptics, adaptive triggers, speaker effects, Tempest 3D audio and fast SSD loading. No one has claimed a resolution or frame-rate edge. We'll add the in-game settings after launch.
