The official credit
Confirmed. Rockstar's wording: check out the Launch Trailer featuring the debut of "Flower in a Hurricane" from original score composers Justice feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
That single sentence does three jobs: names the trailer theme, elevates Justice from guest to score composers, and stacks three major featured acts on one cue.
Score vs The Album vs radio
Keep the layers straight (Analysis on confirmed announcements):
| Layer | Role | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Original score | Justice-composed underscore | Confirmed — Rockstar |
| Flower in a Hurricane | Trailer / score-adjacent single | Confirmed debut |
| GTA VI: The Album | 34 new tracks, Nov 19 (prior announce) | Confirmed album; VGC reports this single is on it |
| In-game radio | Licensed + hosted stations | Confirmed separately |
More: The Album, trailer songs.
What coverage says it sounds like
Reported. Mashable describes an '80s-inspired synth bed with guitar elements — useful color, not a Rockstar press quote. Listen yourself on the official trailer rather than trusting adjective chains.
