Asked whether GTA 6 and the Zelda remake were stealing MW4's oxygen, Bahl answered that GTA 6 and Modern Warfare 4 are the two biggest games of the year — "no offense to Zelda." He argued console "dust off" traffic around GTA 6 could even put more eyeballs on CoD dashboards, and that CoD's friend-driven multiplayer is a different job than a single-player blockbuster.
He also declined to assume CoD numbers crash on November 19, floating a possible "play a little of both" split.
