'Don't Drink & Drive. GTA 6 Is a Month Away': The Viral Miami Highway Sign Photos

• Current status: Viral photos, reported by entertainment outlets. Origin unverified.
• Last verified: October 26, 2026.
• Official sources checked: Rockstar Newswire and Rockstar's X account (no mention).
• What is confirmed: nothing official. Rockstar's Miami campaign is real, but these signs aren't tied to it by any source.
• What is not confirmed yet: the exact location, who programmed the message, and whether the photos are unedited.

Reported (The Source): a post by @InternetH0F on October 24 shared the sign with the caption "Miami getting some incredible digital billboards". The Source describes them as digital highway signs carrying the drink-driving warning and a reminder about the November 19 release.

Reported (The Source): the same day, GTA fan accounts shared photos of other GTA 6 billboards around Miami, and billboards were spotted in Manhattan with a mural in Brooklyn. See GTA 6 Brooklyn and Hollywood murals.

Analysis: road-safety agencies sometimes use pop-culture jokes on message boards, and so do private digital billboards. Without a claim from a transportation agency or Rockstar, we can't tell which this is, or whether it's real. Treat it as a fun viral moment, not part of Rockstar's official campaign.

The confirmed Miami campaign is in GTA 6 Vice City marketing in Miami.

Analysis: the message is fun and the advice is good, but its origin is unknown. We'll update this page if Rockstar or a road agency claims it.
