What the post claimed
Rumor (BlackBate via Notebookcheck and 6insider): the main embargo would lift November 18, and some sites would be restricted until 12:01am ET on release day.
Rumor (6insider): BlackBate also said review codes hadn't gone out yet, and expected them around the week of October 26 or early November.
Reported (Notebookcheck): insider NateTheHate has said Rockstar will send copies to media soon.
Reported (Insider Gaming, October 14): reviews will go live before the November 19 release. Insider Gaming said it knew the preliminary embargo but wouldn't publish it because it could change.
How it compares to GTA 5
Reported (6insider): GTA V reviews went live on September 16, 2013, the day before it launched. Notebookcheck says Red Dead Redemption 2 reviews also landed the day before launch. A November 18 embargo for GTA 6 would follow the same pattern.
