On this page
Current status
- Current status: Perk described in Take-Two's June 24, 2026 preorder announcement; still cited on storefronts.
- Last verified: October 16, 2026.
- Official sources checked: Take-Two PR text.
- What is confirmed: Free GTA+ month for digital preorders; Vintage Vice City Pack window through purchases before Nov 20.
- What is not confirmed yet: Every regional redeem SKU quirk — check PS/Xbox order pages.
What you get
Confirmed (Take-Two):
- Digital preorders: one free month of GTA+.
- Framed as the best way to get more from the evolving GTA Online world plus the GTA+ Games Library.
- Described as instantly redeemable after purchase (per PR wording).
- All preorders/purchases before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack (separate cosmetic/content pack — not the same as GTA+).
Digital vs physical
Analysis on PR wording: the free GTA+ month is attached to digital preorders in the Take-Two sentence. Physical buyers still sit in the Vintage Vice City Pack window if they purchase before Nov 20, but should not assume the GTA+ month without checking the specific retailer listing.
Platform primers: where to buy, editions.
Redeem tips
- Buy digitally on the account you actually play GTA Online with.
- Open the storefront entitlement / Rockstar benefits flow after purchase — PR says instantly redeemable.
- Note any "use by" dates shown on your order page (store copy can add constraints beyond the PR).
- GTA+ benefits apply to current Online / library titles — they are not early GTA 6 Online access.
Confirmed vs rumored: GTA+ month
| Claim | Status |
|---|---|
| Free GTA+ month with digital preorder | Confirmed — Take-Two |
| Instantly redeemable (PR wording) | Confirmed — Take-Two |
| Vintage Vice City Pack before Nov 20 | Confirmed — Take-Two |
| GTA+ unlocks GTA 6 early | False |
| Physical always includes GTA+ month | Not stated in the digital-focused sentence |
The bottom line
Digital preorder sweetens today with GTA+ — it does not unlock Leonida early. Redeem on the right account and read the storefront terms.
